  4. Once your registration is complete then you will be taken back to the login screen to access the classroom. This time use the userid/password combination you chose.

After you have logged in you will be taken to the “My Courses” screen which will be blank. Use the Browse Courses link to select your classes.

My Courses
screenshot 2: Browse Courses screen before enrolling in any course.

Scrolling down will allow you to see course descriptions. If the class is marked “Public” it is a free self paced class you can take at any time. If the class is marked “Private” it is an instructor led class that has a specific start and end date. Before you will be granted access to the private classroom you must have paid for the course though the registraiton link i the menu above. If you have a question about any course use the “Contact the Instructor” link for each class.

All classes will have a link to contact the instructor if you have a question before enrolling.

In the example used here the student is enrolled in one Public class- “The Language of Web Design” which is immediately accessible using the course name as a link or the student can go directly to the class forums.

Until your instructor has approved your request (after verifying that payment was received for your clsas) and before the intsructor opend the clasroom your “My Courses” will show the Private class ias still pending approval from the instructor and the link to the classroom is not available.

your classes
To enter the classroom double click on the course name and you are there.

In both cases the student can send an email to the instructor or drop the class by using the “Remove” link.
